Discover how a large not-for-profit multi-site hospital system in central Florida implemented standard work to achieve sustained improvements in the patient experience. By leveraging evidence-based strategies to increase teamwork and communication, system leaders implemented a standardized approach to high reliability rounding. Fostering interprofessional collaboration and maintaining strong partnerships with the Press Ganey team, the system improved patient experience top box scores, ranging from 4-8% increases in several Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) domains. Jessie Reid currently works with the system nursing team. She has been in her current role for a little over a year. In the position she is focused on improving practices to support better outcomes and bringing standards of care that support system success. Prior to this current role, Jessie was a CNO and worked to support the integration of a hospital into the system. Her leadership journey began as a ICU/PCU manager and then as a CV service line manager. She began her career in the trauma unit with several of those in the ICU.
Krysta Kishbaugh, MPH
Senior Director, Practice & Patient Care Improvement
Krysta Kishbaugh is an experienced improvement specialist with over 15 years in healthcare, driving operational excellence, patient care, and organizational growth. Known for her strategic vision and hands-on approach, she specializes in coaching, healthcare analytics, and process optimization to deliver measurable improvements in patient experience and performance. Since joining Orlando Health’s Improvement System Team in 2020, Krysta has led cross-functional teams in executing high-impact projects that align with strategic goals, enhancing patient outcomes and efficiency. In 2024, she became Senior Director of Practice & Patient Care Improvement, overseeing HCAHPS and care delivery initiatives to exceed patient satisfaction and quality metrics. A passionate advocate for leadership development, Krysta is pursuing a Doctor of Health Administration at the University of North Florida and aims to advance into executive leadership, continuing to shape the future of patient-centered care.
Helen Loflin, MSN, RN, CCRN, NE-BC

Helen Loflin began their career at Orlando Health in 2015 as a bedside nurse, driven by a passion for critical care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Helen played a pivotal role in building and managing Orlando Health’s dedicated COVID unit at Dr Phillips Hospital, an experience that sparked a deeper interest in healthcare leadership. In 2022, Helen earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Executive Leadership. That same year, they transitioned into leadership as a Nursing Operations Manager, a role they held until 2024, when they were promoted to Director of Nursing. Throughout their career, Helen has been recognized for excellence and innovation. They received the Excellence in Nursing Award in 2019, the Excellence in Leadership Award in 2023, and the DAISY Team Award for their contributions to the COVID Operations Team in 2020.As a leader, Helen is passionate about mentoring and empowering emerging nurse leaders, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within their team.
